This position is engaged in research and development of multilingual speech recognition or synthesis technology. Target languages of speech recognition and synthesis include Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Myanmar, Spanish, and French. The position is responsibe for achieving realistic performance until 2020.

Salary (basic salary) 467,000~510,000yen/month
Working frequency 5 days/week
*Expert Researcher(limited-term)working full time can use flexible time system
*Able to work in staggered hours(7 hours 30 minutes working per day)
*Annual paid holiday system(Stipulated in limited-term employmee rules)
Saturday, Sunday, national holiday, and year-end and New-year holiday and designated day by NICT
*Retirement benefit system:N/A
However, as a basic salary is compliant with government employees' wages, it shall be changed when a basic salary is changed after labor union and the like of NICT agreed under a revision to the government employees'wages.
