The Specialization in Quantum Information Physics within the Department of Physics at the Graduate School of Engineering, Yokohama National University (YNU) invites applications for Specially Appointed Assistant Professor in the field of Quantum Information Physics. The followings are overview of the position, required qualifications and application procedure:

1. Job title: Specially Appointed Assistant Professor

2. Start date: July 1st, 2019 or the earliest possible date thereafter

3. Job description: High-quality original research is expected to be done with the aid of professor Hideo Kosaka. Research area of candidates should be in one or more of the following areas in the field of Quantum Physics and Engineering: Nanotechnology, Optical Condensed Matter Physics, Quantum Optics, Quantum Electronics and Electromagnetic Resonance.
