1. Affiliation:
(1) Research body: Faculty of Law, Institute of Human and Social Sciences
*You will have to participate in collaborative research projects in the field of study on enhancing regional resilience to cope with risks, that consist of human capital and social capital.
(2) Educational body: Course in Welfare Management, School of Regional Development Studies and Graduate School of Human and Socio-Environmental Studies
*It may be that you will have to take charge of an additional school education.

2. Field of specialization: Social Welfare Policy Studies

3. Subjects to Teach:
● General Education Division: Life and Social Welfare
● School of Regional Development Studies: Basic Human Rights, Two of the following subjects (Social Welfare, Social Administration・Social Welfare Planning, Public Assistance, Welfare of Children), Seminar on Social Welfare, Study for Graduation Thesis and other lectures and seminars
● Graduate School of Human and Socio-Environmental Studies: Special Study on Social Welfare Policy, Introduction to Social Welfare, Studies on Social Policy and other lectures and seminars

4. Other duties
(1) Attending various meetings of Faculty, School and Graduate School.
(2) Advising students (including office hours).
(3) Participating in collaborative research projects in the field of study on local community capability and others.
(4) Setting questions for entrance examinations and marking those papers.
(5) Undertaking administrative operations and other duties as required.

*Please note that this position is under a five-year fixed-term contract and thereafter, permanent employment is possible based upon the results of an internal review by the university.
*The term of lecturer is set for 5 years at the time of employment. The candidate will be converted to adequate tenured status, based on the following achievements, which is to be implemented during the term.
(1) Educational achievements (Lecture, Practicum, Seminar, Research guidance, etc.)
(2) Research achievements (Research papers, Presentations at conferences, Research grants, etc.)
(3) Contribution to the university and society, and so on
