Reference No. EM 2019/13The Institute Nanospectroscopyis looking for Postdoc Position - Electron Paramagnetic Resonance on a Chip Postdoc EPRoC projectConstruction of a setup for EPRoC experiments in a vacuum deposition chamber.Performing EPR measurements during the growth of organic and inorganic layers.Implementation of the EPRoC in the existing materials and synchrotron core lab EMIL at the synchrotron source BESSY II.Construction of an electrochemical cell for simultaneously performing XES and EPR measurements.Supervising of 2 PhD positions within the EPRoC projectProject management of the BMBF project EPRoCPhD degree in experimental physics, chemistry, materials science, engineering or related fieldPhD degree in experimental physics, chemistry, materials science, engineering or related field.High motivation to work in a large team on a demanding research project.Experience in EPR or synchrotron based X-ray spectroscopy and designing and constructing experimental setupsVery good communication skills and experience in project management Further Information Prof. Dr. Klaus Lips+49 30 8062-14960lips@helmholtz-berlin.de Closing Date: 09.08.2019 apply
