The Graduate School of Economics at Kobe University in Japan invites applications for a full-time position to teach economics and related subjects in English as part of our on-going efforts to expand English-taught programs.
Teaching duties include
(a) Macroeconomics at the master's level.
(b) Introductory economics and intermediate macroeconomics, at the undergraduate level.
(c) Courses for English literacy such as academic writing and academic reading.
The employment starts on October 1, 2020. The rank of the position is Professor, Associate Professor, or Lecturer. The position is a three-year fixed-term contract.
The successful candidate must be a native English speaker or have native-level fluency in English, hold a Ph.D. in economics by the start date, and demonstrate a record of high-quality research in economics.
Date of Employment: October 1, 2020
Employment Duration: 3 years (October 1,2020 – September 30, 2023)
