The post is a full-time position for a fixed period of 5 years under the Tenure Track Program in Graduate School of Agricultural Science, Kobe University. The successful candidate will be evaluated for performance after 2.5 years by means of a mid-term defense, and will undergo a final evaluation after 5 years. After the evaluation, the candidate may be promoted to a tenured Assistant Professor on April 1, 2025.

This laboratory is devoted to researching and studying for advanced animal breeding and biodiversity in livestock. Main research topics are 1) identification and utilization of responsible genes associated with economic traits in cattle, and 2) analyses of phylogenetic relationships, propagation routes and origins of livestock using molecular information.
