Position involves teaching individual 3-credit courses over one semester, roughly 3 hours class time per course per week; scheduling open. Remuneration ¥320,000 per section. Contracts are by semester and renewable.
Other duties include office hours; otherwise, instructors may voluntarily participate in duties usually required for full-time positions, e.g., meetings, events, professional development, assessment, etc.
Transportation allowance for public transportation is provided.
Lakeland University Japan was founded in 1989 and is one of very few fully-accredited American universities in Japan, with recognition from the Japanese government.
