1.Required academic discipline is ethnomusicology (anthropology of music) based on vast knowledge of world musics and also on field work at one or more particular regions. It is desirable that the candidate has an interest in material culture including musical instruments and audiovisual archives, and is motivated to engage in museum activities.

2.This position is for one new academic faculty member at the rank of associate professor or assistant professor.

3.The selected candidate will be employed from April 1, 2020, or October 1, 2020.

Benefits

Salaries and allowances will be based on salary regulations for staff of NIHU.
