Number of positions: 1 position - Assistant Professor (term fixed)

Research area: Molecular Cell Biology

Job details:
We are looking for a self-motivated and passionate researcher who can conduct academic research, as an Assistant Professor (term fixed), on the fundamental basis of organization of cell structures and the molecular mechanisms of cell movements mainly by using unicellular eukaryote and microscopic techniques. He/she will belong to the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences and engage him/herself in research (mentioned above) and education on the area of Molecular Cell Biology, in both graduate (Biological Sciences, Graduate School of Life and Environmental Sciences) and undergraduate (College of Biological Sciences, School of Life and Environmental Sciences) programs.

Teaching duties:
The successful applicant will be in charge of research guidance of graduate students (Master's and Doctoral Programs of Biological Sciences, Graduate School of Life and Environmental Sciences) as well as education at both graduate and undergraduate schools.

Location: 1-1-1 Tennodai, Tsukuba, Ibaraki 305-8572, Japan

Starting date: April 1st, 2020 or later
