We are looking for an assistant professor in Okuda lab, Nano Life Science Institute, Kanazawa University.

Okuda lab is a new laboratory starting from April 2019 (http://mechanogenesis.org). This lab focuses on mechanobiology of multi-cellular systems by the integrated approach of biological experiments and mathematical analyses.

We are looking for persons who fulfills the following issues.

【Biology】
1)Interest/Experience in the mechanobiology of multi-cellular systems such as embryogenesis, tissue regeneration, and carcinogenesis
2)Interest/Experience in the integrated research of experimental biology and mathematical science
3)Experience in molecular biological experiments such as genetic manipulation, and culture and imaging of cells and tissues

【Mathematical science】
1)Interest/Experience in the mechanobiology of multi-cellular systems such as embryogenesis, tissue regeneration, and carcinogenesis
2)Interest/Experience in the integrated research of experimental biology and mathematical science
3)Experience in mathematical biology, condensed mater physics, computational mechanics, or informatics.

You play a central role in promoting research regarding mechanobiology of multi-cellular system. We may also request educational activities such as research guidance to students considering your aptitude.

Special allowance, around 1,320,000 yen (Annualization conversion)
Salary will be fluctuated by performance and evaluation after adoption.
We will provide million yen in the first year for research funding.
