Our group focuses on a development of new catalytic reactions, and on conducting integrated research of plant science and chemistry with emphasis on sustainable resource science. Currently we especially focus on development of transition metal-catalyzed asymmetric C-C bond-forming reactions, fluoroalkylation reactions, and radical reactions. In addition, this group studies a wide range of research in the fields of synthetic organic chemistry and chemical biology by the collaboration with Synthetic Organic Chemistry Laboratory and the other group of CSRS (Center for Sustainable Resource Science).
