Then consider applying for a post-doctoral MSCA Individual Fellowship with Ghent University as your host institution. If you have the support of a Ghent University supervisor, you can apply for our MSCA-IF Master Class by March 11th 2019, 12:00 CET. This training will increase your chances of being selected for a fellowship.
Ghent University is ranked 69th in the Shanghai ranking and 107th in the Times Higher Education ranking. Today Ghent University attracts over 44,000 students, with a foreign student population of about 12%. In 2017, the university invested over 297 million Euros in research projects on behalf of public and private partners, and employed around 7,300 academic staff members, and 6,000 extra staff members in the University Hospital. Ghent University's 11 faculties are composed of 79 faculty departments. These departments offer high-quality courses in every one of their scientific disciplines, each inspired by innovative research.
The Master Class takes place from 7 to 9 May 2019 in Ghent, Belgium and focuses on various aspects of the research proposal: training, Open Access, data management, ethical issues, communication, societal impact, exploitation of results, etc. This timing allows the candidate-fellows to attend the general information session of the Belgian NCP in Brussels on 7 May.
What is funded
Ghent University offers reimbursement of the travel and accommodation expenses related to participation in the training (maximum four nights).
