The BCS (British Computing Society) has accredited
all of our undergraduate degrees to CITP level. They have also
accredited Computer Science, Computer Science (Games Technology),
Software Engineering and Computer Systems Engineering to the higher CEng

We have more than ten teaching laboratories, with over 300 workstations running Windows and Linux. We have specialist facilities including:
- games console lab
- mobile programming lab
- multimedia/graphics lab
- networking and security/forensics labs
- dedicated final year projects lab; and
- a Human-Interaction Technology lab.
The latter is a state-of-the-art facility for mixed research and teaching
use and includes a stereo-projection wall and a range of advanced
technology including 3-D printing. Specialist software includes EnCase,
3D StudioMax, XNA Xbox development suite, The Adobe Creative Suite
(Flash, After Effects, Photoshop) and the Unreal and Half-life Games
Prof Eiman Kanjo is active in the areas of Mobile Sensing,
Internet of Things (IoT), Smart Cities, Data Science and technology for
wellbeing & Mental Health.
Prof. Kanjo is looking forward to hosting a Marie Sklodowska Curie Fellow.
