Description
Assistant Professor Dr. Emrah Aydin, MD, PhD, MBA, MSc who has been starting a fetal program at Koç University School of Medicine, Koç University Graduate School of Health Sciences and Koç University Research Center for Translational Medicine, is interested in receiving expressions of interest of potential candidates for the Marie Sklodowska Curie Individual Fellowship (MSCA IF) 2019 call.
Dr. Aydin’s research interests focus on investigating the basic pathophysiologic mechanisms of pediatric and fetal surgical congenital malformations, specifically but not limited to congenital diaphragmatic hernia, establish prenatal diagnostic markers and prenatal imaging modalities of congenital diseases, develop innovative fetal therapeutic interventions and to discover solutions or therapeutic strategies for unresolved problems in the treatment of these anomalies. Translational research is his way to achieve these goals.
Dr. Aydin is interested in sponsoring up to 2 post-doctoral researchers working on any project related to his research interests. Marie-Curie Fellowships are very competitive grants and often are limited to very solid CVs as well as projects.
