Who should attend?
The session is targeting early career researchers and prospective PhD and Postdoc candidates from all disciplines; and with an interest of pursuing a degree in Europe. All participants will receive a webinar attendance certificate.

This webinar will take place on 12th of March at 3:00pm IST. Please ensure you confirm the timing in the time zone where you are based!
Will participants be able to ask questions?
Webinar participants will be able to submit questions to the speakers during the webinar in writing via the chat function. Open questions will be addressed in a subsequent interactive Q&A session.
Registration is now open. Space is limited, and attendance is on a first come first serve basis. The presentations will all be held in English. This webinar is entirely for free.

About the speakers
Shane Rydquist, Content Head, Editage Research Communication Services
Shane has over 5 years of experience in language editing, scientific communication, and publishing. He has personally edited over 1,000 manuscripts across various subject areas in the life sciences, collaborating with over 7,500 researchers to help them realize their dream of publishing in high impact-factor journals. He has also helped deliver against the expectations of millions of researchers by overseeing iterative and author-oriented editorial solutions. He strongly believes that every researcher deserves to have their work read, cited, and valued by the larger scientific community. Shane has a Masters in Science, with a specialization in Plant Molecular Biology. He loves playing football and composing music in his spare time.
Dr. Samrat S. Kumar, Country Coordinator of EURAXESS India
Samrat is the Country Coordinator of EURAXESS India since 2018. He holds a PhD in South Asia Studies from the University of Oslo, where he worked as a research fellow at the Dept. of Culture Studies and Oriental Languages (2011-2014). From 2014-2017 he was the Director of the Nordic Centre in India. Samrat has lived and worked in Austria, India, Nepal, Norway and Spain. Over the last 12 years Samrat been involved in a number of collaborative research and educational projects between European and Indian institutions.
